INTRODUCTION
What is operational amplifier?
An operational amplifier is an integrated circuit that is basically used to amplify weak electrical signals.Op-Amp are used extensively in filtering ,signal conditioning or to perform mathematical operations such as add, subtract, integration and differentiation.
This is called operational amplifier because in early days when digital computers were not evolved ,Operational amplifier were used to perform all the mathematical operation like addition , subtraction , integration and differentiation just by using passive components like resistor and capacitor.
Why Operational amplifier is used?
Operational amplifier are not used isolated. It is connected to different circuit to perform variety of operations.
Amplification of input signal
When we combine our operational amplifier in our amplifier circuit .It can amplify weak signals to strong signals.
Elimination of noise from an input signal
By operating as a filter of input signals, the operational amplifier circuit is able to extract the signal with the target frequency, eliminating all the other frequency entering MCU.
